Abstract
The project's purpose was to prevent holiday weight gain among rural hospital night shift employees during the holiday season. Elements leading to weight gain and obesity: holiday time frame, rural environment and night shift workers. Healthy work environments include education on nutrition, finance, physical activity, stress management and chronic diseases.
