Abstract

Cognitive activity stimulated vasomotor symptoms (VMS) that were imaged using functional MRI in symptomatic menopausal women. The anterior cingulate nucleus and corpus callosum were activated in participants who experienced VMS. Characteristics of women who experienced VMS and those who did not will be examined. Results and implications will be discussed.
