Abstract

Some terminally ill patients arrive to the ED seeking interventions to alleviate their symptom burden,not to endure aggressive testing to be informed that their disease has progressed. The poster aims to educate ED providers regarding patients who meet the eligibility for palliative care consultation through the use of trigger tool.
