Abstract

During this session, attendees will explore mindfulness as a concept and practice for those experienced or unfamiliar with the topic. Attendees will be introduced to the history and implementations of mindfulness in Western research, health care, and culture. Following discussion, attendees will be guided through a brief mindfulness meditation practice.
