Abstract

Suicide is a preventable cause of death. Education can lead to detecting warning signs, early treatment, and suicide prevention. Offering parents of adolescents education through “More Than Sad”, a 90- minute session created by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) seeks to save lives.
