Abstract
Each year, approximately 8 million healthcare workers are exposed to chemotherapy agents. Properly implemented health policy can create a safe work environment for nurses. Evidence-Informed Health Policy Model was used to develop a chemotherapy policy and the Hazardous Drug Handling Questionnaire examining nurses’ knowledge and self-perception regarding chemotherapy safety.
