Abstract

The presenter will explore how the Coronavirus pandemic causes moral injury to the ego, superego and id for front liners. Self-care measures to improve the mental health of nurses who are experiencing trauma and burn out will be displayed through a poster presentation. The findings are late-breaking because research demonstrates how nurses and other medical professionals are experiencing a deeper level of trauma. The ego, superego and id are being negatively affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
