Abstract
Medication errors remain a substantial problem in healthcare. This poster presentation focuses on a descriptive study that utilized survey methods to determine what direct care nurses cite most often as factors contributing to and factors preventing medication errors. Study findings, conclusions, and recommendations for enhancing medication administration safety are discussed.
