Abstract

This presentation will explore the findings from a recent study examining faculties’ perception of Academic Nurse Leaders’ (ANL) toxic behaviors. Presenters will offer a robust discussion on the impact of these behaviors on faculty and work culture and how ANL can take an active role in addressing the issue. This recently completed study addressing faculties’ perception of Academic Nurse Leaders’ (ANL) toxic behaviors could not be timelier. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, nursing academia is facing unprecedented challenges. Nursing faculty fatigue and career dissatisfaction are soaring. Highlighting problematic ANL toxic behaviors and finding solutions is critical.
