Abstract
This presentation reveals aspect of facilitators, barriers, and strategies that might contribute to compassion fatigue among CNs at two Southern California health systems. Descriptive content analysis revealed: 1) Coping with Demands, 2) Compassion Maintenance, 3) Motivation to Continue in Nursing, 4) Avoiding Stress Strategies, and 5) Facilitators to CS.
