Abstract

The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has called attention to the critical role that nurses and other healthcare providers (HCPs) play in pandemics. This qualitative study seeks to explore the experience of HCPs directly caring for patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Late Breaking Reason: This study presents findings and recommendations of interest to clinicians and administrators involved in direct patient care during the COVID-19 pandemic. This presentation will provide data (stories) from nurses and other HCPs who cared for patients at all levels of care, in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
