Abstract

The learner will identify the physiological and psychological impact occupational heat stress has on operating room personnel during real-time orthopedic surgeries. Hence, nurses will then be able to identify individuals at risk for heat stress and interventions to alleviate discomfort to preserve cognitive performance.
