Abstract

This longitudinal, cross-sectional study tested interventions to reduce work stress while building resiliency in registered nurses at four hospitals. Nurses were given a kit with validated stress reduction strategies. Nurses completed a pre- and post- resilience scale, demographics, use of strategies and stress measures. Work stress decreased while resilience increased.
