Abstract
This qualitative study illuminated the lived experience of professional generosity among nursing faculty in academia while offering understanding of workplace relationships, insights into healthy nursing faculty relationships, and promotion of faculty retention. Four essential themes found were: I Feel Valued, Core Relationships, Reciprocity, and Growing our Profession through Connectedness.
