Abstract
Academic incivility has been known to cause negative learning environments that could adversely affect nursing practice and patient outcomes. The purpose of this qualitative inquiry was to ascertain prelicensure nursing students' perceptions of incivility in order to construct effective coping strategies that could promote a healthy academic environment.
