Abstract

Special Session presented on: Tuesday, November 19, 2013:

The Virginia Henderson Global Nursing e-Repository has transitioned from the Virginia Henderson International Nursing Library. Are you interested in hearing a brief history of the library's transition to an online, open-access repository? Do you want to know more about the repository and the benefits it offers to nurse authors who are eager to share their clinical and academic scholarship on a global basis, thus furthering the growth of the profession as a whole? Are you looking for an alternative publishing resource to submit your evidence-based practice and research related works to? Do you have reports, white papers, faculty created learning objects, capstone projects, a thesis, and/or dissertation that you would like to share with others? Good news! The Henderson Repository offers all nurse authors a free, convenient way to share these types of documents (and others) in a no charge, open-access, peer-reviewed, environment. As a resource of STTI it is open to both members and nonmembers. Come to this session to learn more about this unique alternative publishing opportunity!
