Abstract
Special Session presented on: Tuesday, November 19, 2013: The purpose of this special session is to report on the findings of the STTI Technology and Innovation Taskforce. The taskforce was formed to support STTI President Suzanne Prevost's call to action to Embrace Technology in all areas of nursing including practice, education, and research. Information on the challenges often associated with new technology and best practice ways to overcome them will be presented as described in the TIGER Initiative. An emphasis of this session is to provide practical tools that Chapter leaders may use to engage members to become more active in their chapter.
