Abstract
This presentation describes a descriptive qualitative study that was conducted to understand nurse managers' views and expectations of new graduates transitioning to practice. Three themes emerged and provide insight into the challenges new graduates and their managers face. Implications and recommendations for advancing nursing will be shared.
