Abstract
This retrospective analysis of 526 sickle cell clinical trials examines disparities in the inclusion of very young pediatric patients and the impact of participation demographics on study outcomes and scientific success, providing guidance for nursing advocacy for vulnerable populations in clinical trial design and recruitment.
