Abstract
DNP nurse faculty on a tenure track have more challenges with scholarship than PhD prepared faculty due to educational preparation differences. However, both terminal degrees are needed in academia. A mentoring program for DNP prepared faculty was developed to assist faculty to be successful on a tenure track.
