Abstract

Faith-based organizations (FBOs) offer guidance to communities worldwide. Although active in supporting spiritual health, many may not fully address the lack of adequate health literacy (HL) within their communities. This presentation will review current roles of the FBO in health promotion and explore opportunities for improved response to limited HL.
