Abstract

The development of an experiential learning activity focused on health politics and policy will be described. Students in Georgetown's Nurse-Midwifery/WHNP programs met with their federal representatives on Capitol Hill. The influence of these visits on American College of Nurse-Midwives grassroots legislative efforts will be discussed.
