Abstract

Although the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) has been widely used to screen fathers for depression, no studies were found examining its use in U.S. fathers of infants admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit. This study examined the psychometric properties and structure of the EPDS in this unique setting.
