Creating a culture of safety
Abstract
Unit charge nurses' leadership scores were high; however, percentage of their positive responses to patient safety culture items was low. Additionally, there was a moderately positive correlation between transformational leadership and patient safety culture, and transformational leadership was found to be important in the improvement of a patient safety culture.
