Abstract

Educators have the opportunity to ensure student learning has occurred through journaling. Journaling allows students to reflect and retain their clinical experiences and become active participants in the learning process. The journal presents opportunities for evaluation and critical reflection of clinical performance and previously held assumptions related to mental health.
