Collaborative Learning in Simulation

Abstract

The outcomes of a qualitative analysis of collaborative undergraduate and graduate nursing student critical care simulations are presented. The realistic simulations promoted understanding of the importance of communication and felt like a real patient encounter. Students recognized that when caring for a patient, everyone is working toward the same goal.
