Embracing inquisitive thinking by front-line staff [Symposium]
Abstract
Communication between nurses is important to prove safe quality patient care. During the transition of caregivers, the patient should be included in the handoff communication to improve safety. A bedside staff nurse used the Academy of Inquisitive Thinking to improve medical surgical nurses bedside handoff report at change of shift.
