Abstract

Physical activity is known to influence affect. The degree to which positive/negative affect influences physical activity is less understood. This integrated review looks at how individual level positive or negative affect can influence physical activity behavior. Knowing how affect can influence physical activity may lead to suggestions for future interventions.
