Using the great cookie experiment to teach qualitative and quantitative research

Abstract

The Nursing Research course is a vital part of any nursing curriculum. One such strategy used to explain concepts related to research is the Great Cookie Experiment by Theil. Students found the activity engaging and expressed that the it was an effective method to learn concepts related to nursing research.
