Abstract

Thematic analysis of anonymous posts in an online substance use recovery forum has provided valuable insights into the lived experience of recovery. As nurses, these insights teach us to address the agony of withdrawals, acknowledge the emotional and psychological needs of our patients, and encourage self-care and healthy coping.
