Abstract

An observational cohort study of adults admitted to an acute care hospital was conducted. Upon identification of sepsis criteria, a sepsis bundle was initiated. Patients who met criteria were followed and given detailed discharge instructions. Readmission status, suspected cause of sepsis, discharge disposition, and bundle compliance was tracked.
