Abstract

New graduate nurses face immense amounts of stress related to transition shock, role adjustment, and more. With these "first" experiences new graduates will face, reflection is imperative. This study implements facilitator-led reflective discussion groups and reflective journaling to decrease stress, increase satisfaction and support, as well as retention rates.
