Abstract

This ethnonursing study described culture care beliefs and practices of Ethiopian immigrants in the U.S. This poster specifically presents reflections by women who are subordinate to men in Ethiopia, representing beliefs and practices that have been abandoned, modified, and/or retained following immigration, demonstrating a move toward gender equality and empowerment.
