Abstract
Nurse leaders are responsible for creating a healthy work environment for nursing practice which is crucial for ensuring an engaged workforce for now and in the future. This study provides an assessment of nursing leadership competencies that reflects the ANCC's Forces of Magnetism and prepares nurses for exemplary professional practice.
