Abstract

Nurses are in a pivotal position to advocate for health policy by addressing critical issues that jeopardize our health care system and professional practice. Participants will recognize that health policy education, mentoring, experience, collaboration, and leadership skills are essential components to improve participation in the political and health policy realm.
