Abstract
Provides a brief overview of the conceptual framework of professional ambulatory care nursing. Presents the conceptual framework as a frame of reference for nursing education and research highlighting: 1) use in developing nursing educational curricula; and 2) use as a guide for ambulatory care nursing research.
