Abstract
The purpose of this study was to learn whether: (1) a respiratory assessment tool would assist nurses to care for patients experiencing respiratory distress but are unable to self-report; (2) an intervention would be performed for respiratory distress; and (3) nurse's confidence would improve between pre and post scores.
