Identifying unmet mental health and emotional palliative care needs in patients with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome

Abstract

This is an exploratory descriptive study of emotional and mental health palliative care needs in patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). Results from 120 free-texted responses thematic analyzed indicate EDS patients have several mental health and emotional palliative care needs they are hesitant to discuss with their healthcare providers.
