Abstract
As the nursing profession continues to expand, we succeed to greater exposure and risk to being litigated in a malpractice lawsuit. Awareness of claims naming nurses will allow for tailored nursing education and training to improve care, while reducing the number of adverse events and malpractice cases naming staff nurses.
