Emergency Departments (ED) are increasingly deluged with people suffering from psychiatric/mental health and substance abuse problems. Inability to properly care for these patients threatens safety and achievement of high quality outcomes. Gain insight into how placing dedicated psychiatric staff in the ED significantly improves safety and quality outcomes.
