Abstract

Military-connected children around the world represent a distinct sub-group of militarizes and they are subjected to stressors similar to their service member parent(s). Development of policy initiatives focused on military-connected children is critical to mitigating health issues secondary to parental service, improving physical/psychological outcomes, building resilience, and strengthening families.
