Nursing leadership through the time of COVID-19
Abstract
Just five months following the State of the World's Nursing Report release, nurses and nursing organizations are dealing with the global game changer that is COVID-19. The pandemic has impacted nurses, nursing organizations, and nursing practice worldwide.
As part of the policy dialogue following the SOWN Report, the World Health Organization, the International Council of Nurses, Nursing Now, and Sigma Theta Tau International will host a free webinar illuminating multiple perspectives on leadership during COVID-19.
Nursing Leadership Through the Time of COVID-19 will include four separate panel discussions on the challenges and lessons learned during COVID-19, question and answer sessions, and a concluding conversation.
- ICN will feature leaders of national nursing organizations;
- Nursing Now will showcase young and early career nurses;
- Sigma will present nurses in practice from different global regions; and
- The WHO will highlight leaders in nursing policy.
