Lived experiences of emergency department nurses during the COVID-19 Pandemic: What we have learnt and how we can plan for the future
Abstract
Understanding the feelings, perceptions and attitudes of emergency department (ED) nurses who worked on the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic is essential for the growth and resilience of the healthcare workforce. This webinar will explore lived experiences of ED nurses, from graduate to Nurse Unit Manager, with lessons learnt from 2020 to 2022.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Develop an understanding of the feelings, attitudes and perceptions of ED nurses who worked, and are working on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic
2. Analyse and interpret your own feelings, attitudes and perceptions about nursing during the COVID-19 pandemic
3. Analyse research recommendations and construct your own initiatives and practices to support the wellbeing of the nursing workforce
