Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the effects of an exercise intervention on flexibility, exercise self-efficacy, exercise readiness to change, and perceived flexibility of elderly Mexican women. The theory used Roy's conceptual model. The context of the intervention was explored by examining health status and role load. Attendance and exercise repetitions represented a measure of the intensity of the intervention.
