Abstract

The study sought to promote ecological behavior in nurses through action research. Research addressing specific ecological behaviors by nurses is limited. Aims included (1) Involve nurses in research using Community Based Action Research (CBAR). (2) Pursue a CBAR project addressing nursing behaviors with negative environmental consequences. (3) Evaluate participants' general ecological behaviors and attitudes about CBAR. (4) Analyze the CBAR project.
