Abstract

The purpose of this dissertation was to explore how collaboration is perceived and experienced by the licensed nurse (LN) and the certified nurse aide (CNA) in the nursing home (NH) setting. Understanding perspectives and patterns in the process of LN/CNA collaboration is critical in the quest to secure safe, quality care delivery for NH residents.
