Abstract
As the amount of people with heart failure and treatment complexity increases, many hospitals are implementing Advanced Heart Failure Intensive Care Unit (AHFICU). The success of this new model of care depends on understanding unique characteristics of patients including factors related to self-manage ability, cognitive function, and sleep quality. Nursing interventions can be implemented to meet the needs of this population. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to understand the relationships among sleep quality, cognitive function, and self-management ability at discharge in patients in AHFICU.
