Abstract
Nursing presence is a core relational phenomenon in nursing. It involves devoting attention to being with and connecting with another, which is essential for providing holistic, person-centered care. There is scant research on the experience of nurses practicing in mental health settings who use presence in the care they provide.
This research aims to understand the lived experience of nurses providing nursing care and engaging with presence in the mental health setting.
