Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe mothers' day-to-day experiences in raising young children diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The specific aims were to describe maternal concerns, day-to-day management techniques used, access and utilization of resources and to compare the responses to mothers of children without diabetes.
