Abstract

The geriatric population is growing rapidly. Geriatric education in nursing school curriculum is vital. Undergraduate nursing students need to be educated about the multifaceted care of the older adult as well as experiencing positive clinical settings while taking care of the elderly population. The older adult perceives themselves as aging successfully and have much to teach nursing students about this perception.
